Members of the MFA Ambassadors, led by its Director-General, Hon Saheed Balogun and the coordinator, Ogbeni Jamiu Olawale, were at the office of the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa as they were also accompanied by the CHief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola as the visit also served as an avenue to brief the Council Chairman on the activities of the Independent Campaign Group.
The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa expressed gratitude for the level of love and commitment shown to him within the short time the MFA ambassadors kick started their programme. In his words “the level of commitment has been top-notch, as the MFA ambassadors have been crisscrossing Ward E under the sun and the rain”. Hon. Olowa prayed for Hon. Mojeed Fatai and every other leader who have shown true love to the cause. In concluding his speech, the Executive Chairman declared the MFA Ambassadors as a key component of the Independent Campaign Groups whose strategies will be replicated in all wards.
In his address, the Member, representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 1 at Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, extolled the Mayor for his good works , while declaring that the MFA ambassadors are solidly behind him. Speaking further, he said, charity begins at home and that the forthcoming elections must portray the party as true democrats as real votes must be canvassed, which is exactly what the MFA Ambassadors have been doing by taking the message to all corners of each ward.
Also speaking was the Vice Chairman, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji who appraised the commitment of the group and made a donation to support them as the All Progressives Congress (APC) party Chairman, Ibeju-Lekki Chapter, Hon. Aliasau Eletu who identified with the group also made his own donation. Also present was Hon. Babatunde Surakat Idogun who praised the Council Chairman for his giant strides and prayed that the next four years will be more rewarding and fulfilling as he extended same prayer to Hon. Mojeed Fatai.
4,000 posters printed on behalf of the Executive Chairman was presented to him by members of the Independent Campaign Group with the leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka and the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adebanjo Adewale also in attendance.
