LG POLLS : LAGOS NSCDC COMMENDS HITCH FREE ELECTION, APPRECIATES VOTERS’ COOPERATION

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Mr Keshinro Adedotun has commended, the hitch free Local Government Elections conducted, in the state, today, Saturday, 12th July, 2025.

 

The Lagos State Commandant having earlier assured, the Government, Electoral officials, voters and the good people of Lagos State of peaceful conduct before, during and after the elections has also affirmed that so far, so good, the election has been very serene, smooth and well organized, oweing to how the people have conducted themselves.

 

The NSCDC, Lagos State Command also deployed, Strategic Monitoring Teams charged, with the duty to ensure adequate monitoring of the election, with the earlier large team of officers deployed, across all the Wards and Polling units designated, for the purpose of the Local Government ( LG ) polls across the state.

The Lagos State Comandant also mentioned that his monitoring team would like to commend the ways and manners voters cooperate with the security agents posted, across all Wards and Polling units, for example in Alahusa – Ikeja, Agege, Isolo, Alimosho, Epe, Badagry, Ikorodu, Agege, Apapa and in the entire state, just to mention a few.

 

He applauded Lagosians for the high level of compliance on movement restrictions and used the opportunity to appeal to them to continue to be law abiding even after the LG Polls, today, Saturday and in subsequent elections in the state.
