In a remarkable celebration of dedication, leadership, and impactful service, the Charter President of Eko Achievers Lions Club, Lion Ambassador Oluwayomi Oluwapelumi, was on Saturday presented with the Outstanding Service Appreciation Award by the outgoing District Governor of Lions Clubs International, District 404B2 Nigeria, Lion Tolulope Ayodeji Senbanjo, PMJF, NLCF.
The prestigious award was conferred during a distinguished gathering at the Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, marking the official End-of-Tenure Celebration and Recognition Ceremony for the District Governor.
The award was presented in recognition of Lion Oluwapelumi’s exceptional commitment and leadership, especially in the successful charter and launch of the Eko Achievers Lions Club, which has rapidly become a beacon of impactful service within District 404B2. Her leadership in mobilizing members, initiating sustainable projects, and promoting the core values of Lions Clubs International stood out as a model of excellence among chartered clubs in the 2024/2025 Lions year.
In his remarks, DG Tolulope Senbanjo applauded Lion Oluwapelumi for being a trailblazer among new Lions Club leaders, noting her vibrant passion for humanitarian service and her relentless efforts in advancing the district’s mission of *Real Service.
> “Lion Oluwayomi exemplifies the spirit of leadership through service. Her energy, innovation, and commitment to the Lions’ cause have left an indelible mark not only on her club but on the district at large,” DG Senbanjo noted.
Receiving the award, Lion Amb. Oluwayomi Oluwapelumi expressed deep appreciation to the District Governor, fellow Lions, and the members of her club for their unwavering support. She dedicated the award to her team, affirming that the recognition serves as a call to even greater service and impact.
