In a continued effort to enhance the security architecture of the Federal Capital Territory, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc, today, 29th October 2025, embarked on an operational tour of Bwari and Garam communities, as well as other border areas adjoining Kaduna and Niger States. The visit was aimed at boosting police presence, assessing operational deployments, and ensuring the safety of residents in these strategic locations.
The CP, accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations and heads of tactical units within the Command, inspected various police formations and deployment points, including the Nigerian Law School in Bwari and other adjoining border communities. This operational assessment forms part of ongoing efforts to prevent cross-border crimes and strengthen the Command’s capacity to respond swiftly to emerging security threats.
During the visit, CP Dantawaye paid a courtesy call on the Emir of Bwari and the Etsu Bwaya, where he emphasized the importance of community partnership in sustaining peace and security. He reaffirmed the Command’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property while urging residents to remain vigilant and provide timely, credible information to the Police.
The FCT Police Command remains resolute in its mission to ensure the safety and security of all residents, as the Commissioner continues to prioritize community engagement, intelligence-led policing, and strategic deployment across the Territory.
