Barely fifteen hours after an earlier road traffic crash (RTC) along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway that left five persons rescued, another incident occurred on the same route, this time at Kara Bridge, involving a lone blue Mercedes Benz with registration number GGE 635 XF.

The crash, which happened at approximately 8:45 PM, involved four adult males who were all rescued unhurt.

The prompt arrival of the FRSC rescue team, just two minutes after the crash was reported.

The vehicle which was reported to have lost control, led to a minor crash with no injuries or fatalities.

Obstruction clearing is currently ongoing, with FRSC officials and other response agencies managing the resulting traffic congestion.

The Sector Commander, CC Kehinde G. Hamzat, urges all motorists to adhere strictly to speed limits, especially at night, and to always drive defensively. He commended the rescue team’s swift response and professionalism.
