Fire Destroys Shops In Bibiani

A devastating fire has swept through shops in Nantwikumye a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

 

The blaze ravaged four shops in Nantwikumye a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality causing significant damage to two dress making shops, cosmetic shop and hair dressing shop.

 

According to Richmond Appiah, the Public Relations Officer of the Bibiani Municipal Fire Service, firefighters received a distress call and rushed to the scene.

 

Despite the fire’s intensity, they managed to bring it under control.

 

However, the fire destroyed valuable items, including industrial sewing machines, fabrics, cosmetics, cash, artificial hair and other goods.

The Municipal Fire Service Commander, DO2 Enock Tetteh, urged Ghanaians to use proper electrical materials in homes and shops to prevent future fire outbreaks.
