Assures residents of improved mobility and tackling of incessant street flooding
The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa was at Lakowe community today to inspect the site of the proposed drainage to be constructed by the Office of Drainage Services (ODS) of the Ministry of Environment.
The drainage will serve as the outfall drain for the Oribanwa-Lakowe School Gate Road and will discharge into the canal at Losoro. This, is in preparation for the construction of the 500 meters road between Lakowe School Gate and Oribanwa by the Local Government Council.
The Chairman was accompanied by the leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Mojeed Oluwafemi Olayinka and the Contractors of the two projects.
It will be recalled that the Local Government team led by the dynamic hardworking Council Boss inspected the road two (2) months ago as his administration promised to embark on the construction to improve mobility and reduce incessant flooding on the street. This promise to the people of Lakowe and Oribanwa community nears realization soon.
Renowned Construction giant, Otus Engineering Company with its representatives were also with the Mayor on the inspection.
