Dr. Princess Lilian Chinyere Williams is a woman of many parts — a seasoned broadcast journalist, a humanitarian, a politician, and a passionate advocate for women and children. With a commanding presence and deep commitment to community development, she has become a formidable voice for gender equality and social progress in Nigeria.

 

Widely regarded for her dynamism and charisma, Dr. Williams has spent decades championing causes that uplift the vulnerable, empower women, and strengthen communities. Her advocacy has influenced key gender policies and leadership frameworks, paving the way for greater female representation in decision-making roles. Her work is not just policy-driven — it’s people-focused, rooted in empathy, and motivated by real impact.

As the Founder and National President of Women N Media, and the convener of the Annual International Women’s Day Conference and Empowerment, Dr. Williams has built platforms that amplify women’s voices and advance conversations around equity and leadership. She also leads multiple initiatives including the African Women in Leadership Awards, African Leadership and Stewardship Excellence Awards, and the charity outreach program Balls With the Less Privileged — all aimed at celebrating excellence and serving humanity.

 

Her reach extends beyond Nigeria. She is an active member of Lions Club International District A711 (Canada) and District 404B2 (Nigeria), a Rotarian in District 9110, and a proud member of Business and Professional Women International (BPW) and G100 Women International. She is also a certified women’s life coach and a distinguished member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
