President Bola Tinubu has received the body of the former President, Muhammadu Buhari, upon arrival from London, United Kingdom (UK), at the Umaru Yar’Adua Airport in Katsina State.

Tinubu, who was accompanied by the former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Senate President, Goodswill Akpabio, and state governors, received the former president’s body from the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, who led the delegation that brought back the corpse from a London hospital where he was pronounced dead by medical experts.

The President, alongside other dignitaries, will be taking the corpse to the deceased former leader’s hometown, Daura, where he will be laid to rest under Islamic rites in the state.
